year agoPremier Irish pub located in the heart of Bangor ! Offering a great selection of draft beers and packaged beverages, Paddy Murphys has a great ambience of a true Irish pub. Staff at friendly and helpful, fairy priced, Live music really setting the vibe for a week night which was a great touch! And if you’re hungry, do yourself a favour and try the food ! It won’t disappoint. Off street parking. However can get busy in the area to find a park depending on time of day, Will always recommend the Paddy Murphys for your next night out.

2 years agoI would definitely come back/ recommend. I had the haddock sandwich and it was perfect. It was crispy, not greasy, and the bread went very well with it and didn’t feel like an afterthought. I got sweet potato fries and they were amazing. My boyfriend got a French dip and it was delicious. The fries were well seasoned as well. The only flaw was that the soda bread I ordered was a bit overdone but the house made butter was amazing and the bread itself had a great flavor outside the couple edges that were overdone so I still would give it 5 stars total for all the food.

3 years agoA corner pocket of Ireland, this pub offers a quaint respite from the hustle and bustle. They focus on the natural and fresh flavors of the food instead of over-seasoning. Good portions for the prices. If you don't know any of the local beers, ask for a flight recommendation and you won't be disappointed. Catherine was our server and she managaed to be very attentive and helpful while seeming to be the only employee on staff. She was very knowledgeable and quick to help. We had the poutine pub fries, the cottage pie, and the FRESH fish and chips.

2 years agoLove the decor, the food was fantastic, I have had bangers this good in a long time, and their pulled pork is smoked to perfection. The staff was very friendly and attentive to all the tables. I would definitely recommend stopping in and having a bite or a brew if your in the area.

9 months agoThe staffs are really friendly and nice. The restaurant owns good vibe! We met an old friend and had really good conversation here :) The food is good! Especially butternut squad salad with grill chicken. Beers are well served too. Recommended

year agoThis place is a jewel! Abby was such a great server. She was both knowledgeable about the food and got extremely excited talking about her recommendations. We got the poutine, fish & chips, and a cup of French onion soup. It was all good, but the French onion soup was the best I've eaten anywhere. Additionally, they actually played Irish pub music in an authentic Irish pub atmosphere. Highly recommend!!

5 months agoTook a minute to get noticed by the wait staff after we were seated, but it was a minor glitch (we were in a hidden, corner table). Our server Asheley was great and food was terrific, Poutine for me and cottage pie for the wife. The overhead Irish music was nice-- not too overwhelming. Nice evening out.
